Salon Etiquette and FAQs

BOOKING POLICY
 When you make an appointment, you will be asked to provide your credit card details. A 50% NON REFUNDABLE booking fee is required to secure your appointment. The appointment time will be allocated once this booking fee is secured. If we cannot take this fee then the appointment time will be relinquished to be available for another client.

Any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee to be processed at the time of cancellation.

Any appointment cancelled with less than 12 hours notice will incur the full treatment cost to be processed at the time of cancellation.

All no-shows will incur the full cost of your treatment to be processed from the credit card on file. A booking cannot be made without a credit card on file.  

By making an appointment at Lotus Wellbeing and Beauty, you are accepting our booking policy as stated above.

Illness/Sickness policy

  • If you feel unwell, please call us to reschedule your appointment. We are a small team so please be respectful as the salon will be closed if we are unwell. All appointments will then have to be cancelled or rescheduled to future times where possible.
  • If you show up to the clinic and you are unwell, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the full treatment cost.
  • If you have recently received any vaccinations, please let us know as this may have an effect on the treatment you are booked in for.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We recommend you book your appointment at least 1-2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred time and day.
How do i book an appointment?
You can call the clinic directly on (07) 3260 6510 and speak with one of our therapists to arrange an appointment. If our therapists are with clients, please leave a message and we will call you back.


When should i arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive on-time for your appointment. If it is your first time visiting our clinic; please arrive five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill in our new client consultation form.
what if i'm running late?
All of our treatments are time scheduled in. Please understand that if you arrive past your booked appointment time, we will do our best to complete the full treatment, however, this is not always possible and you will be charged for the full cost of the original appointment.
what if need to cancel my appointment? 
We send a confirmation text 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. 
Less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee, less than 12 hours will result in payment of the full treatment cost.

how can i pay for my treatments?
We accept Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We are not taking cash at this time.
In addition, we offer AfterPay and ZipPay for products and treatment packages valued over $150.
can i bring my childreN?
Sadly, we are not able to accommodate babies, toddlers or young children for Insurance and Workplace Health and Safety reasons. The clinic is an environment that has chemicals, hot wax and sharp objects. We ask that you come alone to your appointment for your relaxation and that of others. Our clinic is a quiet place for you to enjoy with no stress.
iS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Parking is available in the streets around Nundah Village. Please allow enough time to find a park and make your way to our salon.
do you have gift vouchers?
Yes! Our Gift Vouchers are valid for three years from date of purchase. They must be redeemed before the expiry date.
You can purchase a gift voucher online or in clinic for a dollar amount. Gift vouchers will be forfeited if a scheduled appointment is missed and notice is not provided.

do you offer group bookings? 
Yes we can accommodate group bookings for your special occasions. Group bookings are ideal for hens parties, mother and daughter experiences, ladies get-together or couples pampering. A deposit is required to secure your appointment time.
